British manufacturer Aston Martin has just announced it has another trick up its sleeve.
Only weeks after the shock news that Aston are producing a spectacular limited-edition £1 million supercar, the firm has revealed it plans on reviving the Lagonda brand to celebrate its centenary next year.
According to inside sources the new Aston Lagonda will be unique, luxurious, dynamic and truly versatile and is set to rival the likes of Bentley and Rolls Royce.
In a statement Chief Executive Officer Dr Ulrich Bez today said, “After my eight years with Aston Martin, it’s time to think about a longer term future.”
Dr Bez believes the revival of the Lagonda brand would allow Aston to develop cars with a completely different character to its sportscars.
A concept version of the new Aston is currently being developed at Aston hq and is on schedule to be revealed at the Geneva Motor Show next year in time to celebrate its 100th birthday in style.
